"Corvettes at Bob's"
Featured as the first in a series of historic drive-in restaurants, Bob’s Big Boy is a typical drive-in found in Southern California. It is home of the Original Double Deck Hamburger and has the larger than life Shoney’s Big Boy near the entrance to the restaurant. Palm trees, sidewalk tables, and umbrellas make a perfect setting. I’ve celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the 1967 model year Corvette by placing five in the painting. The Goodwood Green coupe and Marina Blue convertible are parked across the street because they were the most popular colors of ’67. I don’t often paint green Corvettes but felt this one really hit the mark.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.
