“At Arthur’s Gate” celebrates one of Kansas City’s iconic barbecue joints. There have been a number of changes since my earlier painting of Arthur Bryant’s Barbecue in 1989 when its founder was still living. This time I’ve included the typical line out the door and down the block as well as reflections of the steel fence across the street. Treat barbecue with a gritty sauce!

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.

Available unframed, framed or as a canvas print. Framed artwork comes matted with a black metal frame, while the gallery-wrapped canvas will ship rolled and you will need to have that stretched on a frame locally after you receive it. Both are thoughtfully and safely packaged and shipped insured first-class.
