"Kelly's Bar"

“Kelly's Bar” celebrates its stop in Kansas City’s history.  The building is said to be the oldest building in the city, located in the Westport area actually on the Santa Fe Trail.  It was originally the final outfitter for wagon trains at the edge of town.  Kelly’s Bar moved into the building in the late 1940’s and has become a true landmark.  I’ve created this painting and a series of Limited Edition Prints.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.

Framed vs Gallery Wrapped Canvas

Available unframed, framed or as a canvas print. Framed artwork comes matted with a black metal frame, while the gallery-wrapped canvas will ship rolled and you will need to have that stretched on a frame locally after you receive it. Both are thoughtfully and safely packaged and shipped insured first-class.
