"Funfest Z06"

“Funfest Z06” was a commissioned painting for 2012’s Mid America Funfest in Effingham, Illinois.  Chief Cheerleader Mike Yager owns the 1963 Z06 Corvette in the image and wanted it placed in front of Mid America’s headquarters and its vintage drive-in neon sign.  This  event was considered the kick off to the celebration for the 50th Anniversary of the 1963 model year Corvette.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.

Framed vs Gallery Wrapped Canvas

Available unframed, framed or as a canvas print. Framed artwork comes matted with a black metal frame, while the gallery-wrapped canvas will ship rolled and you will need to have that stretched on a frame locally after you receive it. Both are thoughtfully and safely packaged and shipped insured first-class.
