"Icons"
For “Icons” I created a painting featuring all five years of the Mid-Year Series of Corvettes. I pictured Corvettes owned by friends and created a background wall that celebrates my boyhood fascination with collecting Baseball Cards. The horizontal 1956 card designs are for some of my personal heroes — Stan Musial, Ted Williams, and Mickey Mantle.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.
