"The Real Deal: 1967 L88"

"The Real Deal: 1967 L88"

I have always wanted to paint an original 1967 L88 Corvette.  Using photos I took of this car in the owner’s collection in Orlando several years ago, I placed it on the lot outside the St. Louis Assembly Plant among other completed Corvettes.   I used some artistic license to add the St. Louis Gateway Arch peeking over the roof of the plant.  “The Real Deal:  1967 L88” was the Official Art for the Corvettes at Carlisle’s 50th Anniversary of the 1967 Corvette where vinyl banners of this image were placed throughout the Carlisle Fairgrounds.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.

Framed vs Gallery Wrapped Canvas

Available unframed, framed or as a canvas print. Framed artwork comes matted with a black metal frame, while the gallery-wrapped canvas will ship rolled and you will need to have that stretched on a frame locally after you receive it. Both are thoughtfully and safely packaged and shipped insured first-class.
