"Cockpit"
“Cockpit” celebrates my love for the dashboard design of the 1963-67 Corvette. I agonized about the color for the interior, debating red, a black and silver combination, and maroon, but ultimately decided on black because so many production cars had black interiors. I almost feel like I’m flying when driving my ’65, and I wanted the viewer to get the same feel from this piece.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.
