"Morning Sunlight on the Museum"

"Morning Sunlight on the Museum"

The Official Art for the National Corvette Museum’s Fifth Anniversary in 1999, this painting was raffled to benefit the museum.  I was given complete freedom to create whatever image I felt best, so I chose the museum itself — complete with the dome and spire.  “Morning Sunlight on the Museum” shows three generations of Corvettes, a 1958 black/silver hardtop, a Rally Red 1967 small block coupe, and the Limited Edition 1995 Indianapolis 500 Replica Pace Car convertible.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.

Framed vs Gallery Wrapped Canvas

Available unframed, framed or as a canvas print. Framed artwork comes matted with a black metal frame, while the gallery-wrapped canvas will ship rolled and you will need to have that stretched on a frame locally after you receive it. Both are thoughtfully and safely packaged and shipped insured first-class.
