“The Coppertone Torch” is my response to all of those Torch Red ’97-’99 owners who have asked to see their car in a painting. The brick wall sign with a Coppertone ad showing the black dog pulling down the swimsuit of the little girl is one I had wanted to paint for some time. How cute, right?

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.
