"The Lifesaver"

"The Lifesaver"

“The Lifesaver” shows one of the most significant Corvettes in racing history.  The Greenwood-built L88 Corvette #49 set a LeMans Mulsanne straight speed record of 215 mph while driven by Greenwood, Dick Smothers, Bob Johnson, and Don Yenko in 1973.  Since this car was sponsored by B.F Goodrich with the stipulation that it run on their new street radial tires, I wanted to park it beside an ad for that performance campaign.  I named the tire dealership after friend and longtime customer Jim Broyles, as a tribute to his friendship.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.

Framed vs Gallery Wrapped Canvas

Available unframed, framed or as a canvas print. Framed artwork comes matted with a black metal frame, while the gallery-wrapped canvas will ship rolled and you will need to have that stretched on a frame locally after you receive it. Both are thoughtfully and safely packaged and shipped insured first-class.
