"Magnificent Seven"
“Magnificent Seven” shows a very unique two-story dealership building as the setting for one of each generation of Corvette. The upstairs showroom windows feature the early cars while the C4-C7 are parked in front of the building. This was a commissioned work by my hometown Cable-Dahmer Chevrolet as they liked the concept of the seven generations and the upstairs showrooms. I’ve seen a number of these upstairs showroom dealerships and blended them together in one painting. Two Corvettes which I owned when I created this painting are included; the C4 convertible was my 1994 Callaway SuperNatural, and the C5 Electron Blue Z06 was my 2003 without the Milestone Edition graphics.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.
