"An Italian in Paris"
“An Italian in Paris” features a Ferrari 250GT California Spyder parked across the street from a sidewalk cafe in Paris, Au Rendez-Vous Des Artistes. I photographed the cafe in Paris in 2008 because of its name and the amount of detail in the storefront. It was actually across the street from the famous Moulin Rouge as well as the building in my first Paris work, “Breakfast in Paris.” I took hundreds of photos of similar cafes that I’d like to paint, so if anyone wants a Paris subject in a painting, let me know.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.
