"Blue Star"
”Blue Star” features a Nassau Blue 1966 Corvette convertible parked at the side wall of a brick Texaco station. I’ve always liked the emblem of the big Red Star and found an old ad with a small boy wearing his Dad’s Texaco hat, advertising a seasonal oil change. It has a real “cute factor,” something I’ve occasionally used in the past. This is also the first evidence of my addition of older soda pop crates stacked along a wall next to a soda pop machine. I remember those types of machines with the lifting lid and the challenge of moving ten bottles to get to the flavor I wanted.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.
