"Buried"

“Buried” is my concept for a Barn Find subject.  I had driven past an old barn along I-49 in south Missouri for years, watching it fall apart little by little.  Last January I thought the barn had deteriorated just enough, so I stopped to take several photos.  From hundreds of photos of Corvettes I’ve taken over the years, I found a red solid axle and decided it should have lots of junk stacked on and around it.  Some items include a pink Barbie toy C4 Corvette (it belonged to my daughter), an old racing helmet, a red gasoline can, several strips of wooden moulding, an older 1967 Camaro racer, several red soda cans, and wooden soda bottle crates.  I really love the collapsing of the roof that shows the sky and trees through the slats.
