"Call Me a Cab"
In 2008 “Call Me a Cab” was a real departure for me. Judy and I wanted to give our friends and family a unique holiday gift. I gathered a number of items they had given us, including wine foil cutters, corkscrews, glass stoppers, and bottles of wine, took several dozen photos, and created a painting of those gift objects. Since then I have created two more images in my Wine Series.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.
