"Carbon Edition at Sebring"
This commissioned work focused on another special Corvette, the 2011 Carbon Edition that celebrated the successes of the Pratt & Miller Corvette Racing Team. This car is a beautiful Supersonic Blue color reminiscent of the 1967 Lynndale Blue paint, and since the focus of the special edition was for the racing program, I chose to use the surroundings of the Sebring, Florida, racing track, especially the walk bridges and advertising on the side walls of the track. Ironically, “Carbon Edition at Sebring” was completed while I watched the 12 Hours of Sebring streaming live online.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.
