“Hollywood Cafe” was inspired by a series of photographs I received from several car guys in the Phoenix area. They all sent pics of a building in their area featuring Marilyn Monroe on the wall. There was not a specific product or location advertised, but all the photos included a classic car. After some consideration, I decided to paint a 1965 Mustang in front of the wall in a effort to define the location and a period in time.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.
