"Just Before Sebring"
“Just Before Sebring” highlights one of the most significant Corvettes in history. Owned by legendary restorer Kevin Mackay, this 1966 Developmental L88 was sent by Chevrolet to the Roger Penske racing team for entry into the 1966 Daytona Continental and the 1966 12 Hours of Sebring. Driven by Dick Guldstrand, George Wintersteen, and Ben Moore, this Corvette won its class in both races and really ran away from the competition in its class. In my painting I placed it at the Penske Chevrolet dealership racing shop, complete with sponsors for the car painted on the wall and a “mystery” engine block standing against the wall.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.
