"On the Pier"
“On the Pier” was the Official Art of the 2012 NCRS Convention in San Diego. Each year I create a work featuring a member’s Corvette that is exactly 50 years old. The member commits to buying the original painting featuring his Corvette, thereby making his car the toast of the convention. This image is used to create an official banner to be the background for members’ cars. That banner and some smaller ones are auctioned with proceeds going to the NCRS Foundation.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.
