“Original Delivery” was a commission for the owner of a 1972 Steel Cities gray Corvette with a red interior. The owner used the NCRS Corvette Shipping Data Report to locate his original delivery dealership in Pulaski, Wisconsin, and the Chamber of Commerce there provided him with a photograph of that dealership taken in the 50’s or 60’s. He sent that photo to me along with several pics of the Corvette, and I created the exact scene where that car was delivered new. I did embellish the image by adding a fictional 1972 Corvette sales poster in the window.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.
