"Runaway Horses"
I enjoy creating one Shelby work each year, and “Runaway Horses” is 2012‘s Shelby Mustang subject. This painting shows a red Shelby GT500 convertible parked beside a wall ad for Mel Burns Ford, one of the largest Shelby dealers of the ’60’s. That advertisement shows an ad for an early GT350 and offers a high contrast background for the red Shelby.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.
