"Snow Cap on 66"

"Snow Cap on 66"

“Snow Cap on 66” was inspired by a trip to SEMA in Las Vegas.  I detoured from I-40 at Seligman, Arizona as the original Route 66 traveled through there.  It was a typical deserted town except for one business—the Snow Cap restaurant and ice cream station.  The more I took photos, I found more and more exciting details.  Its an original 66 place still owned by the original family.  And it was so full of tourists that I just had to do this painting.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.

Framed vs Gallery Wrapped Canvas

Available unframed, framed or as a canvas print. Framed artwork comes matted with a black metal frame, while the gallery-wrapped canvas will ship rolled and you will need to have that stretched on a frame locally after you receive it. Both are thoughtfully and safely packaged and shipped insured first-class.
