"Strawberry and Vanilla"
Originally intended as a shirt design for the NCRS St. Louis Regional, “Strawberry and Vanilla” was to be merely a line drawing with a little thin watercolor washed over it. But I got excited about the possibilities, and before I knew it, I had a detailed painting. I love this piece! It is a somewhat limited image, not showing the white paint of the car but letting the viewer’s eye fill in the color.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.
