"The Drop"
Showing a 1965 Corvette body being lowered onto a chassis at the old St, Louis Assembly Plant, “The Drop” became a 14’ x 22’ billboard used as a backdrop for cars being photographed prior to entering the Judging Field at the 2008 NCRS Convention in St. Louis. Using my photos of a real 1965 chassis under restoration and ready for its body allowed authenticity to the brake calipers, plug wires, and lines.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.
