“Thunder Road” is a departure from my usual composition, but my photograph of a ZR-1 in Colorado convinced me to create a major work with a focus on certain details rather than a complete car. The lighting and reflections were too perfect to pass up. The title recalls the 1950’s movie as well as a Bruce Springsteen tune, implying that no Corvette creates Thunder like a ZR-1.

Giclée vs Litho
Printing technology changed when the type of scanners used to produce the printing plates evolved. That required changing my printing to the newest and more expensive Giclée Printing. Giclée (pronounced jyee-clay) is printed by a high quality ink jet printing process. Scanning is done in a higher resolution, producing better quality than the previous Offset Lithographic process.

Framed vs Gallery Wrapped Canvas

Available unframed, framed or as a canvas print. Framed artwork comes matted with a black metal frame, while the gallery-wrapped canvas will ship rolled and you will need to have that stretched on a frame locally after you receive it. Both are thoughtfully and safely packaged and shipped insured first-class.
